Sweet! The more people we have, the more economical it is. ^^

I know it's waaaay early to be asking, but do you anticipate we'd be leaving in the morning? I'm trying to figure out if I should ask for the whole day off work.

I'll probably end up taking the whole day myself, just because where I work is SOOOO out of the way of EVERYTHING, but I was thinking to leave early-to-mid afternoon, depending on whether the students among us have classes, etc. I was hoping to leave around 1-2pm, but we could leave later and still get there Friday evening before it gets too late, so I'm pretty flexible. ^^

Oh, I would rather leave around noon-2pm, too. :) So, if I work at all I'm make sure it's suuuuuuuuuper early. I got a new job today, btw! Also, I just registered and will send you money tomorrow.

Congratulations! \0/

Cool, cool. ^^ I'm sure we'll be able to work out a departure time that works for everyone. (My headache? Will be navigating my way out of the airport if/when I go to pick up the car! XDDDD )

Got your reg post, so yeah, as soon as your payment comes through, you're set! ^^

Well, if you would like me to go to the airport with you, I'd be more than happy to do so. :)

Hey, you'd be more than welcome! ^^ ...Are you by any chance over 25?

Unfortunately, no. I am 23. I was wondering how you were able to rent a car being under 25, but I thought you'd found a magical way around the rule. At least I've been told one must be 25...

Oh, no, you can rent a car. They just charge you an extra fee. Hertz is running a promotion for no fees for under-25 drivers, but I don't know if that can be combined with the 50% off deal. If not, I'll just pay the damn fee myself, but I figured if there was somebody over 25 around then it wouldn't be an issue at all, I could sign on as a secondary driver, and instead of everybody paying me, we'd all be paying you (since I'm sure they won't let YOU rent a car on MY credit card. y'know, just a hunch. XD ). But the no-fee may also only apply if you're renting for a week, or something. It's sorta confusing, since it's written in Hertz-ese. I'd probably end up calling and making the car reservation, just so I can confirm everything with a real, live person. The 50% off would be the better deal, though, in any case.

I probably shouldn't volunteer to be the main person to drive since I've only lived in New England for the last few months. :P But I have no problem with driving part of the way. I'm not sure which deals we can take advantage of through Hertz, but hopefully we can get something that won't be too expensive. :D

I just sent you the money through PayPal, btw, so you should be getting it soon.

I'd offer to share my advanced decrepitude with you, but they might be curious why someone from Kentucky was renting a car to go from Boston to Philly. :)
