Greetings, MiniMerlin-ers! I know that many of you were interested in information about parking in the area of the hotel, and my contact at the hotel was kind enough to provide it.

HOWEVER, these appear to all be garages/valet. If anyone local to Philly knows of reasonably-local places to park that are cheaper, PLEASE share the information!!

Which offers a flat-rate of $5 per day for the weekend!! Daily rates are more, so you'll pay more on Friday for your parking, but this is a great deal compared with the other lots cited! =D



The hotel valet parking rate is $35/day, for comparison (no oversized vehicles).


Again, Philly natives! If you know of cheaper parking alternatives (anyone got a driveway we can use? *lol*), please let us know!!

This parking lot (http://www.philapark.org/parkinglocator/garagedetails.aspx?FacilityID=143) has a flat Sat/Sun rate of $5.00. It's a few blocks away from the hotel, but closer than some of the ones that listed. It doesn't always come up in searches for the area.

I'm more than happy to offer escort services. If anyone is coming in and would like someone to walk with them from the lot to the hotel, they can call/text me and I'll gladly walk with them.

I'll be driving in with unavee and pasty_pants from NYC, so as we'll be leaving there about 7, we should get there around 9ish. And it does seem like this would be the cheapest. And it seems pretty simple how to get from there to the hotel. With the three of us, I think we'll be able to find our way without a hitch, but just in case, could I get your cell, in case we need a local to tell us "you dumb asses, you took a right when you should have gone straight, turn around and haul ass back and we're all going to point and laugh when you arrive safely"?

Pfft, we would TOTALLY do that in Brooklyn as well...but with LOVE, so it's really ok.
